Joe,

What can I say? We really didn't hang out much 'till Senior Year, but then we got to be pretty good friends.

I was pretty surprised when you called me after my freshman year at Central and told me you were thinking about trying college out. I wasn't sure if it was college you wanted to try or the girls, Hah! It turns out it was the girls after all, and they all loved you!!!

Anyway, I still had the room Kaip, Stevens, Morton and Wetter shared with me Freshman year, so I told you to stay there. What an absolute RIOT we had!!! We terrorized the other roomates (they really had NO IDEA how to deal with us!). We ROCKED that house! Almost got thrown out for excessive noise all the time!

I remember going around the dorm and collecting money for a keg (every other weekend it seemed). A dollar or two from everone on the floor guaranteed we got 200 people! What a rush!

I remember completely dismantling the desks and replacing them with a loft using materials we ripped off from the abanded mill in town. Riding our bikes through town at 2:00 in the morning stoned! Getting lost on the trails at swinging bridge (stoned again!). Repeatedly laying your bike down on M-20 trying to get home from Big Rapids (YEP, you guessed it! Stoned again!).

Anyway Joe, the last time I saw you was at the 20th reunion. It was great to see you, but the hard life you lived was catching up it seemed. You had more scars and broken bones than I remembered from the times we got in fights and thrown out of bars together. But Hey, What the heck, we were roomates!

We had a great time Joe! I will never forget the wild ride we had together. I hope you're in a better place now. I hope to see ya there sometime soon!

Hey Joe!

Thanks for being a friend to me in school I'll never forget it .  It's sad that your time was short I look at mine and wonder . It's hard to hear that someone you know is missing , and you I truly miss . Spread your wings and fly. I want to see you in the reunion in the heavens .

 Your friend Keith
